The Cultural Heritage Remembrance In Southside Team, C.H.R.I.S.T., is a 501c3 nonprofit established to preserve the cultural heritage of Southside, Virginia. Such preservation includes our historic structures, our Christian heritage, and our Virginia and American heritage. Having acquired the historic St. James Church, we intend to use this beautiful historic structure as a venue for Christian services, historical presentations, memorial services, musical presentations, and more.
