The New World Order No One Expected

That the world is at an inflection point in history many agree.  What many also see for our future is "A New World Order," with the United States a significant part of that new order for the ages.  Those who have this view leave one very significant factor out of their reasoning.  America, and Europe for the most part, have abandoned God, and God is not pleased.

Pundits, both in the religeous and secular realm, have opined on the end times development of a new world order, a ten nation confederation which will rule the world as we know it in the end times under a strong, central government with a person of extreme wisdon at the healm, solving all of the seemingly intractable problems existing in the state system.  Most of these pundits surmise that this ten nation confederation will be composed of the United States aligned with European Union nations, seeing in the EU the seed of such a development.  Several facts, and perhaps insights, lead to this being improbable.

First, the United States came to be by divine providence.  We were a Christian nation.  Today, we can no longer be called a Christian nation.  We, as a nation, flout God's law.  We shame those who seek to uphold God's law.  We paint our national capitol in the colors of blatant disobedience.  We sacrifice our children in a manner not less horrific than worhipers of Baal, even proposing laws allowing post birth infanticide.  We deny the divinity of Christ in our churches.  We teach immorality to our youth in schools.  The decadence of our society is, if not worse, at least akin to that of Sodom and Gommorrah.  Violence in the streets of our cities is rampant.  Justice is perverted.  We are Sodon, Gommorrah and Nineveh epitomized.  We mock God thinking we will escape His judgement.  We dare Him to punish our blatant acts of sacrilidge.  Europe is much the same.  God will not allow this to go unanswered.  Time is short, perhaps expired.  God will bring judgement on this nation.  It will be horrible.  It will be devasting.  It will be swift.  Such judgement on the United States will obviously impact Europe negatively.  World power centers will shift, others already on the brink of coming to the fore before the judgement.

Second, it has always been a mystery why the United States never appears in end times prophecy.  I believe it does, but by another name.  The United States is Ephraim.  There are many facts pointing to this which I will leave for the reader to investigate, but know what the Word says about Ephraim in the end times.  Hosea 5:9 "Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be."  The United States will cease to exist as a player on the world stage.  Her sins will have consumed her and God's punishment will desolate her.

Third, Ezekial 38-39 tells us that a coalition including Turkey, Russia, the Central Asian nations, Iran, and lesser players from North Africa will invade Israel, attacking from Syria into the Golan, in the last days.  How does that happen if the United States and a supposed New World Order composed of European nations is extant?  The contrarian view is this.  The United States is destroyed by God.  With the United States gone, the EU falls apart or becomes much less significant or able to fend for themselves.  A new coalition arises consisting of those who opposed the New World Order vision: Russia, Turkey, China, India, Kazakstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgystan, Syria and Iran.  Of course, their glory will be shortlived as God will destroy their forces by His own hand.  Then the antichrist will be fully revealed and set up his short lived kingdom.  What remaining nations or regions that might include is anyone's guess, but it will not include the United States.  We will be in the dustbin of history unless we, as a nation, repent and turn back to God.  Frankly, I think it is too late.

Think it can't happen?  I have no idea how God will bring about the destruction of the United States, but a perfect storm of a Juan de Fuca Plate initiated seismic disruption setting off Yellowstone and New Madrid would be a catostrophic start.
